MINIVEND on SCO Openserver 5.0.4

Has anybody been able to get minivend running on SCO OS 5.04 ?

I am trying with PERL version 5.005_03 built for i386-SCO
and
Minivend 3.14-3

I had no problems getting it running under Linux

but under OPENSERVER 5

When I run configure I get this error :

*** Error code -119 (bu21)

Any advise would be much appreciated
