minivend and server error 500

Hi list,
I realise that this question has been asked before and have read a lot
of the mail archives but......

I have setup the simple demo catalogue as well as one of my own and so
far they work fine, but fairly randomly as far as i can see i am getting
a premature end of script headers error in the log files and the browser
is giving server error 500

I have tried to get it to do it and it really does seem quit random

any thoughts of what else to check??
