write a catalog from scratch?

Hi,
	If I want to write a catalog that looks different from the
	simple catalog. Do I have to write one from scratch? I can
	imagine how hard that will be.... :(


	And also, if somebody write a nice eye catching web site in
	frontpage or other tools, then is it easy for me to add some
	minivend tags to make it as an integrated shopping art??

	The reason I ask is that, we now have a lot of customers that
	want to use minivend as their shopping cart solutions. But
	besides the simple catalog, I have no idea how to come up with
	my own one.
