possible to check the current page??

I'm developing an minivend shop which has some sort of menubar on the lefthand side of the screen (I don't use frames for this) and I use a variable to enclose this on my shopping pages. One of the things in this menubar is a link to the shopping cart page. 
When the customer is on the shopping cart page I don't want to show the link to the shopping cart page since they are already on that page. 
My question is if it is possible to use minivend to check which page is shown so the part of the link to the shopping cart is not shown when showing the shopping cart??
