[shipping] noformat doesn't work for arbitrary field

Hi all,

Is the following a feature or bug?

On top of the shipping option, I will add a handling
charge to any order.
So I add : [value name="mv_handling" value="hd"]

Everything is perfect except for a quirk.
When I try accessing the value of "hd" I use
[shipping hd noformat=1]
It keeps adding the "$" sign but this works for the
standard shipping i.e. [shipping noformat=1]

Am I missing something here?
