Re: Fw: [mv] Problem report, error 404, no access to catalog - Problem solved by Kyle Cook (KC)

Hey Kyle,

feel kissed, on both sides!

That's it:

I did a new _makecat simple_ with the CGIURL -> /simple-cgi/simple.cgi.
First time he could not copy the vlink executable to that directory because
the makecat looks for an existing (!!) cgi-directory. Then I made that
directory manually and did the makecat again - looked and
"yeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaa" (110dB), it worked at once!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A big
stone grown in 6 days looking for that problem felt from my heart. Tomorrow
in tv-news you will hear about an earthquake in my region.

Without changing anything after the automatic installation! On my local
NT4-system two weeks ago it also worked at once without changing anything
after the automatic installation. We should trooth that installation process
a little more. The problem really was a wrong configuration of my
/www/cgi-bin directory. Because I'm not as familiar with UNIX I couldn't
improve that earlier in an other way. I will wash my ISP's head tomorrow.

Thank you Kyle, and all the others too, for your attention.

Have (had?) a nice sunday.
