Holger -
I remember seeing a message on this list which mentioned that some ISP's
require all CGI programs to have the file extension ".cgi", which
minivend's "simple" demo does not have. You might want to ask you ISP if
this is the case with their server.
It seems unlikely that a file permissions problem would lead to a 404
error, but you may want to change the "simple" file permissions to 755 or
777 just to try it.
Sorry I can't offer much more help at this time. It tried your URL and
also the links fromt the Art Store splash page and got the 404 error every
time. It is possible that the "simple" cgi file has been hidden from
minivend somehow?
