No, unless your FTP server locks the file before writing it (very doubtful)
then there is a distinct chance of causing a problem.
Minivend's (and therefore MiniMate's) upload should do it correctly,
i.e. writing an intermediary file, locking, truncating, then writing.
Or it does a move, I can't remember. In any case, using that would have
a much smaller (by orders of magnitude) chance of causing a problem.
