Here's what I use:

[loop search="fi=articles.asc/sf=product/se=[item-code]/ml=12/co=yes"]

The db 'articles.asc' is in the products directory and defined in my
catalog cfg:

Database	articles	articles.asc	TAB

The is in this format:

code	product	url	title
1	09-10	http://www.insideline.net/1998/lendell-0910-98.html	First
Impressions - The Senko
2	9L-5	http://www.insideline.net/1998/lendell-0910-98.html	First
