Yes it's the 8th field of the demo products database, and yes it's ok in
the catalog.cfg. If I add records in products.asc the index file
(products.asc.8) doesn't get updated.

I have re-installed everything, kept an eye on the logs, looked in the
mailing list archive, tried to set permissions at 777, the index file
just don't want to change.

I'm considering switching to Mysql database but I sure would like to be
able to make MV works like it should first.

Is there anyone doing magic out there?
