manual Minivend setup

Greetings.  This is perhaps a dumb question, but bare with me:
Is it possible to setup Minivend on a remote Linux server (running Red
Hat 5.0) without having access to telnet (ie, a command prompt)?  Can
some sort of a manual installation be done, without using the setup
scripts that would normally interrogate the user?  I do have FTP access,
if that makes a difference.
