Hi Rob,

if i go to "http://209.40.105.51/", i see the welcome page only! Where
is the link to your shop?
If your ISP have said, minivend is always running as a daemon, maybe you
have not created a catalog (bin/makecat simple)? 

Do you know about your cgi-bin root?
Do you know about your document root?
Do you know about your catalogs root?
If you have created your own new shop and your new shop is on the right
place?

Maybe, your ISP has to add your shop into the minivend.cfg, e.g.

Catalog       yourshopname /catalogsroot/yourshopname
/cgi-bin/yourshopname /cgi-bin/yourshopname

Maybe your ISP must restart the minivend server to reread the config
files?
Are you able to developt your shop in your own machine?
If you use WIN, install PSW (Personal webserver), install perl and at
last, install minivend.

If you ISP has some experience with minivend, he must be able to support
you or to tell you, why you donīt get succes.

Have you try to call your shop with e.g.
http://209.40.105.51/cgi-bin/simple. I noticed, you have an own cgi-bin
root. What is the name?

BTW: Is this "http://209.40.105.51/ for now" a right URL? It has a
whitespace!
