What can Minivend Do?

Hello List,

I need to evaluate Minivend based on some new paramaters my supervisor is
giving me.  I've been using MV for about 6 months and have a good looking,
functional website in operation.  I'll soon be starting a completely new
project and need to determine whether or not MV is the best solution for the
new project.  Any information would be great, but the best information would
be a "how" to accomplish it...

1. Digital Delivery: can minivend allow for delivery of goods such as MP3?
This would need to be done in such a way to discourage theft - "not a static
download page".

2. Subscription system: rebilling of items automatically (on a timed
schedule).

3. Price breaks: we need to be able to give price breaks at different
purchase levels. example: $14.95 each, or 3 for $30.00.

4. Speed - the current setup of Minivend seems slow.  Maybe my page
rendering is taking a long time?  Maybe the interpretation of the MV tags?
How can I get a speed increase? What kind of speed increase/decrease could
we expect to see when it is put into an SQL database?

5. Membership levels - users get a greater discount dependent on their login
name.
