OOOOH! Please get a newer kernel! There is a bug in 2.2.5 that will
cause the networking stack to start behaving badly. On a system with
absolutely no load, we would sometimes see ping times of >2 _seconds_!
Kernel 2.2.9 seems to be fairly stable. 2.2.10 didn't seem to be too bad,
but avoid 2.2.11.
On the topic of your question, I am not sure you can do what you are
trying to do without having MV run on different ports.
