Invalid Card Number or Card Type adding a mv_credit_card_type

OK I almost have authorize.net working. After a long wait to get SSL fixed the cart is at a point where it is submitting. But is sending back the error page "Order Failed" with the invalid card number or card type error. I found on the list archives two main references to help with this. One of them saying to add mv_credit_card_type fields to the checkout form. Another saying to add:
<INPUT TYPE="hidden" NAME="mv_cyber_mode" VALUE="NA">
to the checkout form. I have tried this method and it didn't seem to help. I am not sure how to add the mv_cred_card_type field. What would be the "value" that would be used? I have installed the SSLEAY, the NetSSL, and the authorize.net CCLib.pm.

I have also added the following to the catalog.cfg:
Variable    CYBER_HOST      www.authorize.net
Variable    CYBER_PORT      443
Variable    CYBER_VENDOR    **user**
Variable    CYBER_SECRET    **password**
Variable    CYBER_AVS       FALSE
CreditCardAuto No
CyberCash Yes

Any help would be appreciated. I am still working on the authorize.net FAQ as soon as I actually get it working once i'll post it =]
