You can solve this by changing the name of the input variable. E.g.
instead of "phone_day", you use "phone" and change the respective
variables in etc/receipt.html and etc/report.html.
If you want to make sure that a phone number is input, then you add
"phone= required" at the bottom of ord/checkout.html
in the checkout profile.
