Check the file etc/order.profiles and look for the line:
phone_day=phone
replace that either with
phone_day=required
or delete the line entirely.
You will need to restart minivend afterwards.
Specifying "phone_day=phone" makes minivend check whether the number
entered in that field looks like a phone number. As with many programs
originating from the British colony in the far west, the rules can not deal
very well with the creative diversity in which our telephone companies
create phone numbers, or how we write them.
The routine used is defined in Order.pm, and wants the number to have at
least 6 digits, three in the beginning and three in the end, anything else
in between.
This will not work with phone numbers written like "(030)123456" etc.
If you use "phone_day=required" minivend will only check whether the field
is not empty, which should be sufficient, deleting the line is telling
minivend you do not really care whether there is a phone number or not.
No more coffee for the next two days. It makes your mail hard to read.
