Maybe you could do it with an accessories table? Pro Series 500 base price is $500 and you can select certain accessories like "Sound Card" $34 or "Super Sound Card" $59.
The trick would be to make sure that they don't select mutually exclusive accessories like Pentium2 350 and Pentium2 450...
There was an accessories implementation on the simple demo last time I checked.
