Re: ECML

I have just made an agreement with an OEM to GlobeSet to develop an
interface between their POS and minivend and other shopping systems
running on Linux.
They have a POS system, a POS Mall system for ISP's and there is a POS
server system that allows any shop to access the POS server and make SET
transactions. The cost for such a client system is minimal (however
depending on the POS server hosting companiy's pricing policy). A
complete POS system for a merchant costs less than $ 2,000.-- (NT4.0).
This OEM's interest is to build a strong base that uses SET. They want
to make their buck by offering their Gateway systems and consulting
services to banks.
We are still working on defining the tchnical details, so stand by for
an update and more details within the coming 10 days or so.
