Arbitrary Order Character

On the order page I receive at the bottom (generated from
catalog/etc/order) I receive:

ORDER NUMBER: 10076

<END EXAMPLE>

I got rid of the "ORDER NUMBER: #" by editing Order.pm, but I can't figure
where the "1" is coming from.  It's pushing my orders to 2 pages.
