Re: Minivend vs Others Options




The question with which database MV should be used for large catalogs
doesn't go away. I would be willing to sponsor Mike Heins' time
and hardware to test a large catalog product.asc file with various
optimized databases now running on Linux, in case he and the documentation
team is interested covering the results of such tests publicly.

You don't have to document "how you optimized" and "how you run
the queries" to not give away your bread and butter buying professional
skills, but you could provide on a live server proof of what runs how fast
with what database.
