PGP and GPG

Hello everyone,

  I just spent the last several days trying to
get my head around Minivend, and finally, the
light came on.  Wow! What flexibility.

  My questions is this:  Has anyone tried using
the GNU GPG program to encrypt order reports?

  I have played with GPG a little bit, but I haven't
used it in a project yet.  Many of my clients (I'm
a programmer) are small businesses, and really 
don't want to shell out the $2400 that Network
Associates wants for PGP server license.

  My experiences with GPG thus far have been 
positive; if I use the right kind of key, the
results are decryptable by windows implementations
of PGP (client licenses of PGP are much cheaper).
Apparently the reverse is also true, but I haven't
tried it.
