Times a produkt is lookaed at

Hello list,
I would like to register the times a produkt is looked at. For instance:
SKU XXXXXX 12 times
SKU YYYYY 32 times
It would beeven greater to know who looked at them......
Does someone on the list know how to do this?
I would also like to register the times a certain pages (non-product page) is looked at. Can this be done with a cgi-script ? I have tried this a number of times but I had no succes. I have tried is by executing a script from the pages wich I would like to register. Every time nothing gets register. What am I doing wrong?
