I guess to also have to set the price conversion in the locale.asc.
I don't remember exactly but the key should be PriceDivide.

For example if the prices in your products.asc are in US $, you could have a line
like this
in your locale.asc :

PriceDivide    1        6

Assuming a $ value of 6 Francs. (there's a blank tab between 1 and 6 because in my
locale.asc the intermediate column is for DE_de and I don't use it for now)

I managed to make it work in a test.
