If it does not show any errors (I think you would have noticed them) you are
alright up to this.

If this is making problems you should try the step-by-step installation. I
think there is a description how to do this in the installation or
readme-file you got with the archive (my last installation was more than six
months ago).

I had this problem with a linux-kernel while my CMOS-Clock got a hickup...
it was timetraveling all the time (hm :-) - have you tried to delete the
directory and untargzip it again?

If it worked you would have been asked more questions and you should get a
message that the minivend-server started up, I think.
