migration from 3.11 to 3.12

Hi all,

I'm having trouble migrating a site from 3.11 to 3.12.
Specificly, the one click searches are not working the
way they should.  They return the number of matches,
but do not display any of the matches.  The site I'm
trying to migrate uses the 3.11 simple catalog pages.
I have 3.12 working for a new site - so I know my 3.12 
install works.  I'm using the 3.12 flavor of minivend.cfg,
and have edited the 3.11 version of catalog.cfg to 
have all the 3.12 stuff.  Does anyone know what else 
I should be checking?
