On what may be a related note: I recently was trying to help someone who
was getting the dreaded "SORT: Invalid switch" on a Windows machine (I
forget if it was 95 or NT).  I couldn't reproduce the error at all.  It
turned out on their machine MiniVend was using the Windows SORT command,
while my machine has the MKS Toolkit, whose "sort" command flags are
compatible with UNIX-ish "sort".
