I tried to run the test script you attached to one of the postings and
obtained a message:
install_driver(mysql) failed: Perhaps the DBD::mysql perl module hasn't been
installed,
or perhaps the capitalisation of 'mysql' isn't right.
Available drivers: ADO, ExampleP, Proxy.

Could you point me to the well working with miniVend 3.12 set of DBI, Mysql,
any DBD:mysql versions.
When I try to install p5-Mysql-modules-1_2016.tgz I obtain a message that
mysql 3.22.21 needed and I have 3.22.22.
