Mmmm... I'd like some of that meatloaf!

I figured I'd manually setup the affiliate info (#1). As to establish a
verified contact.  So I'm not even going there yet.
I am using the userdb functions to display account info based on
username/password.  Previous post contained code.
As far as I know, you're on the right track!

I have searched the documentation and tried to decipher etc/report.
If I am on the wrong track please someone knock me in the right
direction.

What is needed for affilate reporting is.
1. Affilate sign-up area that collects needed info and sets up link
syntax, responds to affilate with banner and link info.
2. password protected area that responds to the acctname and password
and displays only that account.
3.collecton of data from checkout.html
    [data session source]
    [data session referer]
    [value order_date]
    [value mv_order_number]
    [subtotal noformat=1]
4. calculation of affilate percentage
5. reporting data on demand


Can the addition of another set of instructions to the file etc/report
that point to a different database ie. affiiatedb
complete #3? without major modification of the checkout.html?

#1 seems easy
#2 is a little tricky,but not too hard
#4 simple [/calc] when #5 is called.

I am kind of rambling, but I'd like some input on this.
Right track or no?

To new users of minivend. Its a complicated,feature rich program.
I have paid out $ for help that was substandard.
I read everything I could get my hands on about it.
I have no, I repeat zero experience in database admin,network admin,
etc...
I was a chef. I can cook a mean meatloaf.
It took me a year to figure out minivend and obviously I am not done
yet.
I started from ground zero.
But it can be done.
My site is up. working ,taking orders.
Still a few things to finish but its not bad so far.
