RE: Shop-Administration via Web...
****** message to minivend-users from "(SysAdmin)" <jason@ns.korksoft.com> ******
To all:
(1) Minivend Front End serves a need for the Minivend Community.
It has been around for over a year now, both in Freeware form and in
Commercial form.
(2) Commercial form comes with additional modules that you do not
get with the free-ware form. (ie. SQL access, Inventory/Quantity access,
etc.)
(3) Freeware version has been available now for 6 months; people
have been downloading it from our web site without issue for that length
of time.
(4) This is an after-market add-on product. It makes use of NO
Minivend technology what-so-ever. It is strictly a CGI application writen
in perl; and may others sell their own PERL scripts on the Internet.
(5) Mike Heins has a program / front end also called MaxiVend. It
however is NOT commercially available in end-user form. He provides it
mearly for his web hosting clients; as what I do with my Front End.
Lets get off of this topic; or take it to another list/forum as
this does not belong on the MV-users list.
Thank you,
Jason Korkin.
