Removing a record from the database when the item is sold

Hello Fellow Listers
And even a slight smile to the spammers
(can you not tell im in a good mood?)


I'm starting the next adventure with minivend. This step requires that i
remove each sold item from the products.asc so that it cannot be sold a
second time. Now, I havent started yet but im wondering if anyone has done
something simular and can give me a few ideas? Im starting on it this very
minute btw. 






Im useing the reciept.html file to give the customer a printable reciept
so im thinking that the utility to remove the record from the file could
be put in there. This would be called of course after the customer has
commited to buying the item(s). 


After reading the Doc-manual im left with two questions,


does minivend have any built in utility to do this?

if not

Has anyone done this and can they share with me their insights and maybe
some code?
