Hi all,
Looks
like I found the culprit behind the data area error in IE. Our Thawte cert is
somehow mixing 128bit and 40bit encryption or some such nonsense. Netscape
reported the cert to be 128 bit encry and IE reported it as 40 bit. When tested
on a completely different machine that uses Thawte cert, it worked fine. So, if
you get a data area error you may want to check your cert. I went to MS online
support and all they had listed for data area was backoffice. We don't use
backoffice. So no help there. Thanx for the help!
