Product.asc problems

Hi, Ive been trying to change around the product.asc file to suit my needs.
Going by the product.asc file in the simple shop included I have tried to
keep to the lay out as much as possible. Using tab to break up the coloums
got a bit messy so I started using pipe. Example of my product.asc file is
as follows.

code|description|title|artist|comment|image|price|category
1|Quake2|Quake2|Id Software|Quake2|quake2.gif|45|Games
2|Quake1|Quake1|Id Software Quake1|quake.gif|20|Games
3|StarCraft|Starcraft Blizzard Starcraft starcraft.gif|45|Games
4|Riva TNT|Riva TNT|16mg AGP|Riva TNT|tnt.gif|299|Hardware

There is obviously something wrong with what I have done and are doing. When
i ./makecat after changes and go to view the shop online it says there are
no items found to display.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
