This seems to be a common problem when upgrading. MV 3.11 handled the userdb with a  user tag, whereas
the userdb concept has now been included into MV code. As a consequence, some of the tags are different
now.
Check the mailing list archive for the solution provided by Hans-Joachim Leidinger last month.
You will find the new tags in the simple demo that comes with the MV 3.12.  Compare with what you have
and apply the changes.  The post of Hans-Joachim gives full details.
