Re: Mvend 3.11 badsearch bug?
****** message to minivend-users from "Gideon van Gelder" <gideon@swingmaster.nl> ******
Hi Kyle,
I've come accross the same thing. I simply took both search.pm and
textsearch.pm from version 3.12.
With these, if you leave the box emtpy, MV returns all items in your default
database. If you don't want this, you can do a work around with:
[if value mv_searchspec]result page stuff
[else]no match found[/else][/if].
This also solved the problem I got when I'd entered chars like ' in a
search, which caused the badsearch page to appear. (problem for a
music-store with akward band-names or album titles).
Bye bye,
-Gideon
