no make

I know this is a perl question but I am hoping someone has a quick
answer. I have a RH5.2 machine that I am attempting to install 3.12 onto
and I get no make script errors. I have perl 5.00405 installed and am a
total loss. I have the exact same OS on two other machines and it
installed fine and runs fine. If anyone knows which rpm file I am
missing to make this all work I would be greatly appreciative.
