Depending on your connection either one of these products can help you:
telephone: PCAnywhere, free trial version available at thier site.
isdn or higher: PCAccess
Be advised that PCAccess will work over a phone line, but the packets it transmits are usually too large to be easily handled by phone. These products fall into the category of "remote-control" applications. They allow you to use your mouse and keyboard as if they were on the computer you are dialing into and then send 5-10 screen shots of the computer you are "dialed" into. PCAnywhere even allows you to log-off of the computer you are dialed into and log back on.

The Minivend documentation states the following .

Can somebody please advise why this is so ? I have minivend running on NT
and I haven't had any problems.
BTW if I do persuade my NT ISP to install minivend for me can anyone tell me
how I can start and stop the server remotely.
