I'd check the permissions on the /home/webstud/catalogs/sample/
directory and the session database file underneath it, and make sure the
minivend user can read and write to them. "tie" is a perl5 call for
opening and reading/writing to database files (whether they be dbm, ndbm,
etc). The fact that it couldn't tie to the session database would most
likely be caused by the permissions being incorrectly set on them.
Hope this helps.

Lee.
