Probably be easier to just get his raw data, and make a minivend around
it. The most recent one I did (www.bloomingbulb.com) was a bunch of
static pages, with no interactive ordering, when it was presented to me.
I laid out the database format for them and told them to
fill it up. Writing the pages after that was pretty easy (compared to
writing the whole thing in perl myself). Once you get the hang of coding
for minivend you can impress all your customers :)
The best you will be able to be to with thier existing pages is suck all
the data out of it, and use it as a basic layout.
