what means this error?

I have instaled minivend 3.12.
And simple catalog when I'm trying to get to noframes mode generetes
folowing error:

Importing products table from C:\www\catalogs\simple\products\products.asc
SORT:  Invalid switch
The process tried to write to a nonexistent pipe.

And don't stops , stils tryes to reread data and gets error again, and so on
until STOP button on browser is pressed.

But the FRAMES mode works great... what it could be?

I tried reinstall catalog , but nothin changes...
