You might want to try letting MiniVend handle importing the Excel
tab-delimited format automatically, so you don't have to do any editing:
Database products products.asc TAB
Database products EXCEL 1
We've had good luck with this. There's also a bug fix or two for Excel
import in 3.12 which are not in 3.11, so you might want to use 3.12.
