sharing session data between two machines via SQL

Hello!

 I'm untangling the mystery if how to have my minivend checkout on a
seperate, secure machine. My best solution so far is for them to have a
common sessiondatabase, which both machines can access via SQL (my
database is actually on a third machine, but it just a well be one of
the first two). 
 From what I saw in the documention, it didn't appear that it was
possible to have the session db in SQL format. Has anyone done this? Or
do you know other ways to share minivend data between machines?
 I see the stuff on TcpHost and similiar config variables in the docs,
but nowhere can I find "This is what you need to do share data between
to minivend machines."
