High Load Sites?

Is anyone running minivend on a high traffic system? We are looking 
at a pretty big project coming up that involves a shopping experience 
and are trying to decide what package to use. We use minivend for our 
smaller stores and it works well but I am curious how well minivend 
scales as traffic increases.

Anyone have any high-traffic experiences with minivend and/or a high 
traffic minivend server I can hit? This would be for a large web 
presence for a major corporation that plans to promote via 
TV/Newspaper/Blurbs.
