(repost) why isn't IE4 caching graphics?
****** message to minivend-users from Stewart McCullough <stewart@yixing.com> ******
Hi,
I am setting up a catalog that is searchable either by keyword (via a form input
field) or by a set of "one-click" searches. When I use the one-click searches
everything goes smoothly, but if I do a search by entering text into one of my
search fields then the results page re-loads all of the graphics on the page
(yet only for IE4 browsers). This doesn't happen for Netscape browsers, nor
does it happen in IE4 when I use a one-click search.
I saw a post regarding this in the mailing list archives, but I couldn't find a
response. Has anyone else seen this?
thanks,
Stewart
PS The catalog is at http://www.arabfilm.com/work.
