[argh] sudden fatal error problem

I've been trying to solve this for the past few hours, and am hoping
that the solution is simple.

I was messing around with SSL stuff, as well as poking around
catalog.cfg and now when a user goes to the checkout page, he/she is
presented with "Can't use string ("") as a subroutine ref while "strict
refs" in use at (eval 39) line 3."

Any ideas? I'm trying to help a client of mine out and would be really
greatful for help. The site is at duffelbag.com.
