Turning on MixMatch?

OK, what dumb thing did I miss. Is there anything to turning on MixMatch
other than, in catalog.cfg:
MixMatch yes
There is a price field in products.asc, and individual quantity price
breaks work great - just the overall quantity break is non-functional.
