I notice with editing those files leftside, menubar and all those you MUST
restart minivend for th changes to take place..

At least on my end you do..

When I am setting up a store on a server and I make a lot of changes I
literally at soem points will just crontab a reboot every 5 minutes. but
that is extreme.
