I think the default of mv_min_string is 1
AFAIK mv_min_string (along with many other variables that put a restriction
on a search) is only used for glimpse. You can check for the length by
defining mv_click with a mv_search_spec =~ "...+" conditional where the
number of periods is the minimum string length for your search.
