That is harsh criticism. If you say something like that you should
give some reasons. 

I understand why you did set up your MiniVend environment for your
customers differently, but not everyone has the need to run hundreds
of catalogs and provide a consistent publishing environment.

I was asking the question to find out if people, who can not program
in Perl, have a reasonable perspective of setting up a good catalog
using the MV tag system by themselves. I asked, because there are many
tag syntax questions asked by people who CAN program in Perl.
Basically I am trying to evaluate the importance of being a Perl
programmer to handle MiniVend.  

It is a question of personal interest, may be not suited to be asked
here, but I don't see why not.

I want to stay within the system, not avoiding it.

The list gets better by the hour. 8-) I have much more hope to figure
out the new syntax than I had four weeks ago. Thanks for all your
