Hi Chris,

I was having the same problem: it's probably something that doesn't work
with version 3.11 (which I'm using).
I think Mike's tip refers to one of the latest beta-versions, as he wrote
about having removed the decrement, which in fact isn't there anymore in the
latest beta-ver.

However, I discovered that the two tags:

[tag flag write]inventory[/tag]
[tag touch inventory][/tag]

work fine for a decrement of the value of "qty" in the inventory. To
actually see it add
"[tag export inventory][/tag]".

I hope this helps. (It should if you're using version 3.11 like I am)
